MustardSeedMoto is about a man in midlife rediscovering purpose through riding. Like many in the second half of life, I’m learning that this season isn’t about slowing down, it’s about recalibrating my purpose. Riding has become a place where I reflect on life, faith in Jesus Christ, family, and the changing seasons of adulthood.
The idea for this vlog started as a way to reconnect with a childhood friend. When we were young, we dreamed about riding across the country together someday. As life often goes, boys became men. Careers and responsibilities took us in different directions, and eventually I moved to the West Coast. Years later, my friend became ill and he could no longer ride. I began recording my rides so I could share them with him and stay connected. Sadly, he passed away before I uploaded the first video.
Today I ride a 2018 BMW K1600GTL, recording my rides as I explore the road and reflect on life along the way. Sometimes that includes photographing wall art from local artists, capturing the creativity that lives in the communities we pass through. I’m new to content creation, so these videos are raw, honest, and unpolished. My goal is simple: to get a little better with each post while sharing the journey.

The name MustardSeedMoto comes from Matthew 17:20, where Jesus reminds us that faith the size of a mustard seed is enough to begin a relationship with Him. I’ve come to realize, later in life, that the smallest step of faith can lead to the greatest transformation. Jesus said in John 14:6 that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and through Him we are invited into salvation and everlasting life. I encourage you to consider His invitation.
